Refund Policy

If you would like a different size, design or style, you may exchange your purchase within 24 hours of the time of purchase, provided that:

• the item is unused, unworn and undamaged;
• you bring the original GST invoice and the item's original tags; and
• the exchange is requested within 24 hours of the purchase time shown on the invoice.

The exchange value is the invoiced value of the item. If the new item costs more, you pay the difference at the day's rate; if it costs less, the balance is adjusted as per Section 5.

After the 24-hour exchange window, we offer buyback of silver items purchased from us. Buyback is valued on the item's 92.5 silver purity and net silver weight, at the applicable silver buyback rate on the day of buyback, as per our store's return policy.

• Making charges and GST are non-refundable on buyback, as these relate to the craftsmanship and taxes already paid at the time of purchase.
• Stones, beads, threads and other non-silver parts are not included in the buyback value.
• The original GST invoice is required for buyback.

You can exchange your old silver for new designs. Old silver is tested for purity and weighed in your presence, and its value at the day's rate is adjusted against your new purchase. Making charges and GST apply to the new item as per its invoice.

Items made, altered or resized specially to your order are not eligible for the 24-hour exchange. They remain eligible for buyback on purity and weight, as described in Section 2. Any advance paid for a custom order is adjusted against the final invoice and is non-refundable once work has started.

Where an amount is payable to you after an exchange or buyback, it is settled by one of the following:

• adjustment against a new purchase or a store credit note;
• cash, within the limits allowed under Indian law; or
• bank transfer to an account in the name on the invoice, normally within 7 working days.

Payments made by card or UPI are refunded to the same payment method wherever possible.

• Items that are worn, damaged, altered or missing tags (for the 24-hour exchange).
• Items bought without a Shakti Jewellers GST invoice.
